Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ+) Pride Month is celebrated each year in the month of June. Pride Month is an annual observance designed to honor the 1969 Stonewall riots and to promote equal justice and opportunity for LGBTQ+ Americans.
